Connect your web address, also known as your domain to Lightspeed eCom to improve your eCom store's branding and SEO. Add your domain to your eCom Back Office in Settings > Domain. Then, when you're ready to publish your eCom store publically, create a CNAME record in your domain provider.

Search engine ranking is the position of your listing in search results from Google or other search engines. Create redirects before you connect your domain. Redirects preserve search ranking by telling search engines where the same content is on a new website. Redirect settings are found in your eCom Back Office under Settings > Redirects.

A 301 redirect or domain forwarding can be setup in your domain provider's DNS settings. This will redirect your traffic from your domain without www to your full domain. This is only available for some domain providers.

You can link 1 domain name per Lightspeed eCom subscription. You can forward other domains to this domain. This is setup in your domain provider where your domain name is registered.
Your domain name is an important SEO factor. For example, in Germany, Google gives priority to .de domains in search results. In France, Google also gives priority to .fr domains. You can eventually open an eCom store per country when you're successful with the first.
