This article outlines the pre-upgrade details to ensure you have a smooth experience as you upgrade to Lightspeed eCom (E-Series).
Getting ready to upgrade
To get ready for the upgrade to eCom (E-Series), follow these steps:
- Log in to Retail POS, and select eCom (C-Series) from the accounts dropdown menu. If you do not have a Retail POS account and are directly in eCom C-Series, go to the next step.
- At the bottom of the main menu, select Upgrade to E-Series (If you don't see this option, please contact your account manager for assistance).
- On the About E-Series page, click the Get ready to upgrade button.

What data will migrate
- Store settings
- Categories
- Products and variants
- Customers
- Discount codes
- Theme (only if your theme is supported)
Theme transfers are currently only available for the Ignite and Conform Plus themes. If you do not use either of these themes, you can start from scratch with your design and apply it to your eCom store.
What data will not migrate
- Order history
*You can access your eCom (C-Series) order history and reporting in Retail POS.
- Service tickets and appointments
- URL redirects
- Domains
- Apps
