Add original text content to improve your customer experience, conversion and SEO.

1. Write about your business

   Write about your store, its policies, its terms and how you support customers. Lightspeed automatically displays this content in your footer.

   Choose to hide text pages if they are unnecessary to your eCom store. In your eCom Back Office  under Content:

   • Pages that are currently visible to your customers will be marked as DEFAULT.
   • The ones that are hidden from your customers will be marked as DEFAULT and HIDDEN.

   Pages that are visible by default:

   • About Us
   • General terms & conditions
   • Disclaimer
   • Privacy policy
   • Payment methods
   • Shipping & returns
   • Customer support
   • Sitemap

   To enter content in your text pages:

   1. From the left menu of your back office, go to Content > Pages.
   2. From the list of pages, select a page.
   3. In the available fields, enter in your content.
   4. At the top or bottom right of your page, click Save.

   To hide text pages:

   1. From the left menu of your eCom Back Office, go to Content > Pages.
   2. From the list of pages, select a page.
   3. From the VISIBILITY section, set the Visible toggle to off.
   4. At the top or bottom right of your page, click Save.

2. Enter your eCom store's SEO details

   How your eCom store's website is titled and how it will appear to search engines is controlled in Settings > General.

   Editing your store's SEO content

   1. From the left menu of your eCom Back Office, click Settings.
   2. In the column titled General settings, click General.
   3. Enter your store's title, meta title, meta description and meta keywords.
