Tags are keywords that describe product features and are used by search engines. If you for example enter Belt and Black in the address/search bar of a search engine, it will search for these tags.
Your customers may use tags to search your online store. When they click the Black tag, they will see all products available in the color black and tagged as such.
You can add a tag at CATALOG > Tags by clicking the green plus icon in the navigation at the top of the screen. Enter the name of the tag in question in the Title field. For example Sweater, Trousers, Black, Blue etc. We recommend to add three to five tags to a product. You can use tags a number of times, therefore empathize with your customers. Which keywords will they use when they look for a specific product? Use the keywords as tags in your online store.
Tags added by customers
Customers have the opportunity to add tags to a given product. These will also be displayed in your overview, with a red cross mark next to the tag in question. You may approve them by clicking the green tick, or by setting them to Visible if you move the tag(s).
Adding tags to a product
You may add tags to a product by clicking the desired tag and subsequently select the Products tab at the right at the top of the screen. Use the search bar to search for the products you wish to assign the tags in question to and add them by clicking the green plus icon in the navigation at the top of the screen. You can remove tags from products by clicking them and subsequently click the Delete selected button at the right at the bottom of the screen.
Created tags may also be added to products by navigating to CATALOG > Products. Select the desired product and click the Tags tab.
You can modify tags by clicking them. After doing so, you may change their Visibility by ticking/deselecting the check box. In the Title field you can modify the name of individual tags.
